Gentlemen,  I attach a short story I recently wrote that I plan to put into print along with other automotive fiction.  I am waiting on my cover artist at the moment.  I invite you all to read this story for what it's worth and thank you.

Best,

Richard E.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Well done, Richard.  Clever premise. Good read.

A good read, indeed.   Will this book be a series of short stories?    When completed, please post a link for its purchase.

Holey Shamoley, did you take me in. I thought I'd read a few lines and just get a feel of this story. But noooooo! I couldn't stop reading. Extremely well done. Thank you for sharing this. I can only offer one critique. The paragraph that starts at the bottom of page 5 is too long. Needs to be divided into at least 2 paragraphs; maybe 3. Other than that - perfect. Thanks again!

Thank you for the reviews, gentlemen. This will be one of the short stories added to the novella entitled The Dragon's Toll, a horror story about US 129, the Tail of the Dragon. I had an agreement with a store down there to sell the print book. Got bogged down with life but now the stories are again on the front burner. Cover art is being done and I found a printer. I will do a short run of 100 plus books to see how it does.

You're right, Steve. That paragraph was way too long. I fixed it for the print version. Thank you!
