Germany: How do you plan on shipping?
I have a really nice 67 rear end the type with the large nut fill plug on the back.   Not really interested in crating for such a ride. Do you have a location in the states that you work with?
PM sent with more info

Shipping no problem as long its on a crate or something, otherwise I have a friend in NC and there are shippers out there that also can bring it to the port without a crate as long its not to dirty.

Drum to Drum would be better

Please with fill plug like it was usual on the GT500

FYI the fill plug was only usual on 67  GT500's built before approximately mid May 1967 at Ford. A later built 67 GT500 typically did not get the fill plug on the housing . That is why the question was posed by Jeff Speegle . If you know which one you need for sure then good ,if you were not aware consider yourself informed. :)

Oh I only need it for a friend, my GT500 has the one with no plug because it was built end of june 67, my GT500 was one of the very last built cars in LAX

I checked his marti, it was built in may 27 so a housing w/o fill plug should also work? Thats the problem with the mid may cars so many things went different then.

My records and on going survey suggests that big block Mustangs/Shelbys that wee were receiving the rear end housings without the fill plug. Looks like the supply changed back and forth for a while between the two versions but there is a nice tight group near/around your cars finish date

Ok that makes the search easier, I have seen one GT500 with the fill plug and that one was built also end of may. Do you know when there was a definite end with the fill plug housing?

My car, 3074, has the plug. It's a Ford June car.

You are bidding on 1 used original Ford 9"  rear end housing. This 9" 1967 Mustang housing with the fill plug in the back was only produced for a short period of time and is correct for 1967 big block cars including 1967 Shelby GT350 , GT500. This was media blasted and primered . This is an original housing and is NOT a reproduction or made from 2 different housings to resemble the original. Overall width 54 1/4 , spring perches are 43" on center

IF YOU ARE RESTORING A 1967 SHELBY, THIS IS THE REAR END YOU ARE LOOKING FOR

The original brake line assembly pictured is NOT included with the auction, but I will include it for FREE if the buy it now price of $1095.00  is used

As I said before a complete one would be great with all the correct parts.
