Question regarding the cover on the voltage regulator. On the factory assembly line units, was the cover attached with rivets or flat head screws? I've seen both types. Thanks
From the factory ,screws 65-67 . Rivets 68-up.

For 66 you want to have one with two pan screws not rivets. Rivets were used on later versions and later service replacements


Very early 65 caps will have a line under the AUTOLITE (only affects early Mustangs and the first three 65 likely)  after that they had no line
