"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Interesting. Wish there was more backstory.

I can imagine the seller wants to take advantage of the movie release.

In the movie they were excited because he was going to be paid 200.00 a week for what ever that is worth.

Wow. Interesting, especially the price.
Nothing beats a classic!

The 'seller' lists a number of SAI cancelled checks.
Could these have had their origin in the boxes of then forlorn SAI docs 'found' in Gardena in 1976-1977ish timeframe?
You know, the ones that have been hoarded and made 'experts' and 'registrars' out of those who tease us occasionally with their contents?

Probably no way to know for sure what the purpose of that check was, but if it was payment for services rendered the day before, that is truly macabre.

$200 minus payroll taxes?  But I'd think it would've been in Ken's name, not Muriel's.
Maybe she got paid for assisting with some time keeping at the track?

I agree.  There is a certain darkness associated with it.  Not something I'd want to own.

Per the description, that's exactly what it was for. It's a bit morbid to profit on that.
