find yourself a local muffler shop have them make you an exhaust like the boss 302, ask it to be 2.5 or what ever size you would like it to be

we did both our 69 428s with flow masters,  2.5 pipes all the way back to the aluminum collector and we were out the door at about $500 each car

If you don't mind the system looking aftermarket with bullet glass packs or flow masters then having the muffler shop make up the complete system is your easy button. The trick is finding a resonator with the triple reduction humps to make your aftermarket system look more like factory for those that care. If you find the factory looking THEN have the muffler shop build the rest of the system for you.  I used to save all of the resonators off of old systems to re purpose for just such a situation. I used to be able to pick them up on ebay reasonable but haven't seen any for over a year. The factory resonators were aluminized unlike the rest of the system so they seldom rusted and looked presentable although the insides were not and typically mostly gone. If you ran it through a transverse it was just a little louder . If you did't use a transverse they were a lot louder . Nothing close to open headers or the like . The ones Jim is selling will make the system look the part and are brand new . Arvin was the OEM to Ford on the systems. This is just another way of doing it that looks more like original. That is if it matters to you. If not there there is always the easy button way.
