If it was a part of a Ford engineering made XHP-260 or HP260 engine assembly, the "factory" 4V induction engines, I sure would like to know the full details (casting date, casting number, machining date, Ford serial number) for my engine notes.

Thanks.

Dan,
It is not.
I did have a 4 bolt main ex engine once, sold it too the Indy museum, serial number pointed to a Jimmy Clark car.

That was around 1996 era.

Did business with a guy in Ca about 20 years ago, that had TA parts and Indy type parts that were all EX parts.
Can't remember the town, but bought a 65 Shelby, 67 Shelby from him and missed a 66 R model yellow Shelby that was hidden there.

Tony Perrara, that was his name, honest ford guy.

Mike,
That was over 20 years ago, maybe 25.
I can not remember.
Did have pics, but my ex decided she needed them>>> F>>> B.
I would guess that it is still at the Indy museum.
best regards,
John
