Where do these go? Windshield trim convertible

I reinstalled the windshield and started cleaning the outside stainless,etc. I found four of these thin rubber pieces in the bag,but can't remember where they fit......can someone educate me,please?  Many thanks

near the corners, lower and upper, under the stainless...others will know better

I think lower only. There is a notch over the fender where these fit in to

Lower outer only. All Mustang body styles. They protect the trim from hitting the fenders. Ford used 1 or sometimes 2 per side, installed to the mouldings were the mouldings cover the fender area.

BINGO! Now that makes sense....I wonder if they can be inserted after the molding is installed....... 8)
