Tires
« on: December 10, 2019, 07:00:55 PM »
Tires on my car have plenty of tread, but are several years old and wondering if anything is still available in a Radial from Goodyear with Raised white letter tires.  Just like my car, I see plenty with the BF Goodrich Radial TA's, but would go to a Goodyear if something equivalent was available.
225 or 235 /60 / 15.

Advice appreciated.

Thanks

These aren't sixty series, but are available in raised white lettering (small or large) from Lucas Tire.

Hello rmarble57,

In the sizes you are looking for the Goodyear tires you seek are available through Kelsey Tires. There are also two dealers I know that sell the Avons Sasco on the east coast and Roger Krause in California.
Attached are photos of the Kelsey tires page.
Sure you can buy the BFG anywhere from Costco to Summit Racing cheap. Specialty tires come at a premium.
I'm partial and run the 225/60-15 Goodyear Gatorback on PS Engineering 15x8 one piece TA wheels on all four corners.

Cheers,

This is what I run. They wear well and are VR rated.
