BOSS Plates- Thoughts?

I know this isn't Shelby related, but so many of the members on this forum are also big BOSS fans, I thought this might be worth a shot.  I recently saw an ad on eBay for BOSS plates.  This seller had this to say:

Vintage Ford Boss Mustang Badges/Emblems Set of 2.

These came from the estate of a retired Ford Motor Co. exec in the Grosse Point area just outside of Detroit, MI.

Judging by the packaging and original box they came in, they are undoubtly from the 69-70 Boss Mustang era.

These are possibly prototypes that never went into production, because I have not found when or where they were installed in any of the vintage Boss Mustang's.

If you have any further knowledge or information of these particular emblems, please feel free to share.

These are in mint NOS condition!

They measure 4 3/4" x 1"
