Possible to have the list of active threads at the bottom..?
« on: January 20, 2018, 11:48:28 AM »
Might be a dumb question, but how do we (or can we even) get the list at the bottom of the forum home page that use to show active threads?

Just a question, certainly glad the forum is back...

Kind regards,
Vern

Hi Vern... I have added the "Most Recent Posts" to the bottom of the home page.

Do you suggest more than 10 showing? ...or some variation?

Thanks

Hey Ron!

I would do more than 10 personally for a couple reasons. I would bet forum traffic will  be insane for the next few days as poeple jump back on. Also, the current list is showing most recent posts so two or more posts on an active thread can take up more spots on the list.

I was more thinking about the same sort of thing that Forum 1.0 had where it just pushed threads to the top bases on which was most recently posted on..IMO many people follow what is happening on the forum only based off that list.

Just a suggestion though...you guys do a wonderful job and you deserve great applause for getting the forum up and running once again so quickly!

Kind regards,

When is Vern going to have time to read the forum anyway? He will be too busy changing diapers while his wife is at the day spa.
