  Not sure if this is the correct spot for these, but here are the pictures I promised of the floors in KR 04052.

  Unfortunately I had to patch the tans tunnel where someone years ago hacked a big hole in it. Other than a little bit of rust below the battery box, the underside is remarkably solid.

That was most likely to make a Hurst shifter (wrong model) to fit. It was somewhat common.

  Oh believe me, this  was not for shifter clearance. It looked as if someone tried to take the transmission out through the top! Fortunately the car came with a complete tunnel section.
  New piece is welded in, and I just have to try and match the red primer. The work continues!

I am fortunate enough to have completely original floor pans as well. No rust anywhere. I used scotchbrite to remove the road grime, grease and tar so I wouldn't destroy the factory drips. I shot over them and it looks very nice. Perhaps my downfall was not tinting it a bit more. The car had sat from 1978-1982 when I bought it. It sat for another eight years while I was in the service in my parent's garage. I got taken by a couple of restoration shops and just let the vehicle sit until about 2009. The car shell took them over three years to complete. ( was told about two years) I had no rust and just the usual ding here and there. I insisted it was painted unassembled. 
It looks like you have a great base to work with and you won't wind up with a vehicle that is 75% replacement sheet metal. Keep up the hard work.
I don't think many have a clue what an undertaking a complete restoration of this nature is.

  Thanks Keith. This car has been off the road since 1971. That leads me to believe that the 21,000 miles showing on the odometer are original to the car. I'm not going to do any restoration work other than cleaning and repainting only where necessary. Hopefully 04052 will soon be back on the road!
