I'm very glad that one important night, back in April 1922, Mrs Eloise Shelby didn't say "not tonight, I have headache" to the ol' postmaster.

If she had said that, none of us would have had nearly as much fun in our automotive lives as we have.

My eternal thanks to Mrs Shelby, and Happy Birthday to Shel!

Happy Birthday indeed.
Check the 3-Dog Tour thread in Lehigh Valley section, we had a great time celebrating Ol' Shel's birthday (and others).
Cobras, GT350s, Trans Am car, and even a Tiger now included among the other historic cars and race cars.

I wish I'd known. I would have dead headed to KPHL instead of returning to KDFW.
