I had success here finding my '66 GT350H from Steve Ainsworth several years ago (which I still have) and thought I would give this a shot.
I have long wanted an original small block Cobra and, although the bank account won't fund auction prices for perfect cars, I think I can afford a project or what I would call a rough driver. Paint and interior are not really important, and the wrong engine is even ok, as long as the price reflects it.
I am not buying to flip, as I intend to keep the car. I don't sell my cars, at least the important ones. For what it is worth, your car would go to a good home and visitation rights are certainly a possibility. (Steve is welcome to come see his GT350H anytime . . .).
Many thanks,
John Dillman
