Cool color combo.  Parchment in Nightmist Blue really pops!
Nothing beats a classic!

Dominic or Phil might be good persons to look at it, maybe they'll see this and respond...

In my files I have a photo of this car dated June 2018 and a note "Barrett-Jackson deleted" has the same gold tone on the recessed areas of the wheels.

As always get someone that knows the cars well to look the car over in depth and to be in your corner.

The VIN in the advert is off one character...there should be a "U" following the "2" which indicates this as a parchment interior car. I did pull out the registry and confirmed it is truly a "2U" car. Gorgeous.
Richstang has amazing records on these cars so I hope he chimes in. There were less the 40 Nightmist/Parchment GT500s and I believe #1724 is the last one built with these color if my research is correct. Not very many had automatic transmissions if I recall correctly.
The person advertising does not seem really well versed with Shelbys and so I would also urge you to get someone knowledgeable to go along and look it over. Best of luck and I hope this is a car that may work out for you.
Jeff - owner of #885, also a "2U" GT500.

Jeff, you give me way too much credit.
The only real source for the SAI (Shelby American) records is the '67 registrar and the OP wisely already contacted him.
That said, I continue to gather details from every '67 I can find.

The ad link does include a photo of the VIN plate with the '2U' indicating a SJ factory built Nightmist Blue car with parchment trim.
They show the SAI 'Vehicle Invoice' indicating the automatic car was shipped out of LAX with a radio and deluxe wheels (Magstars).

As many here know, it is wise to have the car inspected by a Shelby expert, so they can point out the good and the bad.
FYI; I didn't notice a fan shroud on this car.
