Are all 68 Big Block fan shrouds the same?
If yes,....should be easy.
I think yes but will let experts chime in.

Not all of the same . The assemblyline version is the hardest to find and the most expensive to buy typically. The part evolved over the years into different versions. Check out this link to very good pictures and explanation of each. https://www.428cobrajet.org/id-shroud .

I believe I still have a revision C version that I will sell if anyone is interested.
Original style and look not the later plastic looking one.

C8ZE-A is the assemblyline version any others would be a replacement for the original.

The number that Bob is referring to is on the left mounting flange just below the upper mounting slot.

I have owned 8T03S-01425 since 06/76.
I owned 6S2295 in 1973 & '74.

Thank you for your wisdom, Bob! I'd never have thought to dig any deeper, outside of knowing I wanted a 'horse hair' version. Ill have to go dig up the many, many pieces of my original to see what tales it tells me...

Reach out to DC-DD if he still has his.
The "A" shroud was serviced with the "C" and you will likely never see an "A"  available in good condition .
