WANTED!! This Shelby that my dad owned for 42 years then sold without telling his kids.  He sold it February 2014 and now me and my brothers are looking for it. My dad can't remember who he sold it to or what state it went to.

It's a 1969 shelby GT-350 with a 4 speed in royal maroon and white interior. Vin ending in 404

Keep your eyes out and any car like this please let me know. Any leads help.  I have looked at any and all shelby's on the internet And it's not for sale.  If it's for sale or not I would still like to know where it is.

I have found out that it was for sale here on this forum in February of 2014. If anyone can remember anything or if you are the one that sold it please help.  Thanks to all that help.

Well VIN ending in 404 is a GT500
1404 is a GT500, 2404 is a red car so something is not correct in your clues?

My mistake 0404 is the last 4 I already know what's in the registry about the car. Now I just need to the person that had it for sale. Or a person that has a great memory and remembers it for sale and who was selling it.

Mongo (68-70 SAAC Registrar) will chime in, or you can PM him here. If anyone knows, he will. Send him your contact information along with a request that he forward it to the current owner if he has that information. This way it is then up to the current owner to reach out to you if they so desire, and the sanctity of the registry is left intact.

PS: Welcome to the saacforum.

I have already messaged him and found out that it was up for sale on this forum.  Since the server crashed and lost all of the archives. I'm at a stand still unless someone can remember any info on the for sale post.

First and foremost congratulations. Hopefully you will work out a deal and purchase the vehicle.  Your Dad is a fortunate man to have you and your siblings.

Yes he said he would sell it.  Then give a price that don't make sense.  But he had it totally restored and it looks great.   He invited me and my brother to come and see it. So we are flying out on Wednesday.  My brother found it by watching YouTube videos of 1969 GT350.  So I called the shop that was featured on the video that restored it and got the guys email. And got in touch that way.
