I have a CF roof on my 00R that's been there about 15 years and has been exposed to all the elements you would expect of a racecar. Looks pretty good. It's painted on the outside.

It doesn't react to much of anything except excessive (hundreds of degrees) heat or impact. Oil soaking can ruin paper cores in honeycomb structures just like any other kind of composite.
