They look identical to the standard cast iron T10H-1 for Mustang. Here is a link to a tranny that sort of fits the ticket, but I don't think so. It seams the assembly date code for a cast iron high nickel T10M-1 is too early plus it has a VIN stamp. I am betting it is a recreation.Cast iron T10s in GT350s werent T10M that designation was limited to the alloy boxes. they used the T10 H castings Ive rebuilt many of these and about half of the ones that supposedly came from a GT350 were actual close ratiohttps://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-66-67-SHELBY-BIG-BLOCK-T-10-4-SP-TRANSMISSION-Rebuilt-High-Nickel-NOS-Gears/233482739428?hash=item365ca7dee4:g:dyUAAOSweS5eNaTbCory
Cory, This seller is delusional! #1 NO big block SAI "production" Mustang or Cobra used a T10 , Toploader ONLY. #2 The vin is NOT a Mustang vin and it is NOT in the place where vins were commonly stamped on NON SAI produced vehicles #3 NO big block Mustang ever used T-10 #4 "Sebring" close ratio gears were never made with a "short" big block input shaft. "Regular" close ratio sets were and were used in Galaxie big blocks ( with the short input. This trans has been altered with a Mustang output shaft and tail housing. #5 VINs were never put on T-10s in SAI built cars . Toploaders ('67 up) yes BUYER BEWARE !!!! Randy
Hi Randy,IIRC, the cast iron T10M-1's were also not covered in the Ford MPC nor any T10 in the Ford Maintenance manuals. Any reason why?I will have to check the MPC if the aluminum version is in the Ford MPC, but I will bet not.ThanksCory
