Can someone please give me the exact dimensions of the Cobra emblem that is on the fender of a 1968 Shelby GT500 KR?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Coralsnake, however the link only shows placement.

I am looking to by a pair of the Cobras and want to confirm they are the right height and width.

Take care

There is only one size if you buy the correct 68 snake.

The one in the photo does not appear correct

The side stripes on the picture you posted are different from the OEM stripes, just an observation

The snakes should be the same on both sides (no left and right)

So the passenger side would face towards the front of the car and the drivers side would face to the rear, correct?

And the ebay listing you put down would be correct OEM?

I am attaching a pic from Scott Drake, is it correct OEM?

No! ..the snake never faces to the left as you look at it

Just assume all the Drake stuff is incorrect and you will be fine

The link I posted has the correct snakes, much different in appearance

In your first photo, there is no way to tell if that is left or right side of car. That orientation is correct for both sides. (as it should be)

I suspect the Scott Drake picture has unknowingly been reversed .

the Scott Drake parts are not correct for a 1968.

The F6ZZ part number indicates those are for a 1990s vehicle

The originals are not plastic

Thank you.  I talked to them this morning and they didn't mention that.

Here is one that states it is NOS for 68-71.  But the snake definitely looks different on the horizontal scales on the front.  They appear to have "texture" or vertical lines rather than smooth like the Cobranda cobra.

Here's one that claims to be factory correct also.  Apparently I have a large learning curve ahead of me!  ???

Those look correct

There is a version that is not flat, when you lay it down for 1969

The 68 snake is flat
