Just came back from having lunch at the mall. The apocalypse has cleared out most customers or maybe they are still hunting for toilet paper? Plenty of parking and lots of empty tables, enjoy your day

Stay safe and away from social contact by working  alone in the garage and going for long drives.  You will feel better. 8)

The night is black, without a moon
The air is thick and still
The vigilantes gather on
The lonely torchlit hill
Features distorted in the flickering light
Faces are twisted and grotesque
Silent and stern in the sweltering night
The mob moves like demons possessed
Quiet in conscience, calm in their right
Confident their ways are best
Oh...Oh...
The righteous rise
With burning eyes
Of hatred and ill-will
Madmen fed on fear and lies
To beat and burn and kill
They say there are strangers who threaten us
Our immigrants and infidels
They say there is strangeness to danger us
In our theatres and bookstore shelves
That those who know what's best for us
Must rise and save us from ourselves
Quick to judge
Quick to anger
Slow to understand
Ignorance and prejudice
And fear walk hand in hand   - Neil Elwood Peart OC

Amazing how one can memorize the opening dialogue to Young Frankestein....

On with the discussion;

This is reality, the way of the Model T crowd. The writing is on the wall. Many are in denial but it is what it is...bye, bye dinosaur

Never investments in our eyes, toys made to be enjoyed

Shalom

Model T's are selling today for roughly 20 times their original price, give or take. Earlier models in pristine condition command more, drivers a bit less. And there were over 15 million of them made. Shelby's were far less plentiful and some of them won't command 20 times their original price tag. Everything is relative.

Model Ts price in 1908 was right around $300

More
300 x 20 = $6,000

Less
300 x 10 = $3,000

Rare Shelbys like the one and only 1967, convertibles,  the first GT500, Lil Red, the Green Hornet,  experimentals. the one and only Super Snake.

Like I said you can count them on your fingers and toes.

Unfortunately we humans we are vane, I have the only green Shelby with a plaid interior, rug delete, with a am radio and no console. Not 1 of 2,000 - not 1 of 1, 000 - not 1 of 500, these are truly 1 of 1  that's it no more, the end 1 of 1

These are the ones that are worth the Benjamins.

Everyone else has nice cars.

Show me the money !

KENT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR POST ????

Also thought that the closing paragraph was pretty good:
So, if you can afford to hold on to your classic, there's no reason to sell right now. If you take a long view, it might also be a time to buy. As always, we think the important thing is to buy what you like and drive it often. Given the times, we'll add that it's even more important to stay safe. Please follow the CDC guidelines so that we can avoid COVID-19 quarantines

to keep this in perspective...... so far less that 100 people, in the USA,  have died from this new strain of corona virus.  In 2017 the CDC reported that there were over 80,000 deaths related to the flu virus in the USA.       Be smart.....avoid large crowds.... and wash your hands frequently.  We struggle to understand viruses and unlike bacteria which can be combated with antibiotics  viruses can be much more difficult to treat.  The sample size we have at this point is too small to be statistically significant but we need to be smart to keep this from becoming an epidemic like it is in Italy.  If you start to feel something coming on STAY HOME and contact your local CDC for instructions.  The goal is to minimize the spread of the virus.  Those that are at the greatest risk are infants, elderly, and immunocompromised people.  You don't have to quarantine yourself but don't be stupid either.
