Wow that's a lot of beach trash! I go through an approach avoidance conflict whether to throw a biodegradable banana peel in the woods if/ when I am in such a situation. I always end up keeping the peel until I emerge and find a trash can or I toss it in my car until I get home. I was never like that massive trash scene even at their age.  Too focused on order and conscientiousness. A blessing but also a curse.

I am trying not to be political but sometimes the parallels can't be avoided. The same idiots who keep pushing the global warming hype and save the planet types are the ones that are complete ecological pigs. They can't be bothered to dispose of their trash in a place that has thousands of receptacles mere feet from where they're standing. Evidenced even in a place like Washington, DC Everything that breaks is disposable and no one attempts to fix anything. Why? Because they were never taught the value of a dollar. Mind you, I'm not some 70+-year-old curmudgeon. I'm not far removed from their generation, I was just raised differently with different values.
