Soon to be a blockade at the entry of the FL keys. You must have a residence in order to enter.

Never been.  Would love to go.  But not now.  Crazy times but hey, I'm doing what I can to social distance and not contract or pass the virus.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful.

Actually, Hawaii is soon to have the same rule as soon as the Gov. picks the day to start. No visitors. Then we go to a stay at home 14 day quarantine.   If you are a visitor, you will be required to stay put in a room at a home or in a hotel for two weeks.  Many hotels are starting to close down and flights are down 50%.  Families are being asked to quarantine returning college students.  No spring break parties.  No gatherings with more than 10 people.  Bars are closed on Oahu and Kauai.  Soon to be the same on other islands.   8)

Richard you got to understand the mind set of those that live on these islands, soon to have a moratorium on building any structures so what is already built is grandfathered in. Not in my back yard attitude, very protective of everything. Thats why you have these licaks out on US1 holding up signs GO HOME ! I kinda like it

A friend at work has a time share in Key West. Was supposed to fly there yesterday. Cancelled his plane tickets-got a credit but he lost this years rental.

Florida,...and Miami in particular has not been taking the Virus or recommended curtailing of activities seriously. It's about time.
And don't anyone tell me "ur just reading that."
I was down there 2.5 weeks ago to help out some friends for a few days and the place was business as usual and the beaches had not even closed yet.....

Biggie I guess they left you out of the memo...we seceded and colored our area with a red dot

Left me out also.  Lots of stupids out there still.  Hawaii went into a shut down a couple of weeks ago and almost every hotel in the State of Hawaii is closed.  If you visit or are a returning resident you are greeted at the airport, temp check given and then mandated to stay in place at home or in available hotel room for two weeks.  The gendarmes do random checks.  Available flights are down over 80 percent.

So some numb nut brought his family of four to Hawaii with no hotel reservations yesterday.  Authorities had to find a place that would take them and they have to pay for to stay in place for two weeks.  Aloha!
