Yes Bob as Pete said I am looking for all 3 pieces.  Vacuum advance, Thermostat housing and the vacuum tree on the thermostat housing.

Please be aware that the CORRECT vacuum advance for the J code 4 speed is not the same as CJ . The J code is marked A12 while CJ ( 68-69 428  speed )is marked HP6. They LOOK similar, but are not the same. 1968 version of the A12 uses the brass threaded fitting on the advance side.

I got a nice used a12 with the 68 threaded nipple and nos in autolite box  if needed. Also have thermostat housing with vacuum trees on them and some c8ae trees off what is id # on the thermostat housing c8oe or?

Special Ed,

I have no idea whether the T housing should be C8AE or C8OE or...  Maybe someone else (Pete) will chime in.  But I am definitely interested in both the A12 advance and the T housing with Vacuum tree.  Can you PM me with your prices and pictures?  I also PMed you with my email and phone info if you want to send directly.

I just looked thru my box of t-stat housings and I got 2 nice c80e 68 302 late 67 date cast with late 67 dated vaccum trees still in place proper factory positions of which is best way to  buy one since they are very hard to remove and brass nut fitting gets corners rounded off when u try and remove them and the 3  cast on nipples break off easy. 68 302 t -stat housing is c8oe and has smaller bypass hose nipple cast in it then in 69 and up 351w its c9oe with bigger bypass hose nipple otherwise they look the same and this is why 68 bypass hose is c2oz and 69 is c9oz different size bigger hose. Replacements are cast iron housings that are incorrect.
