On mine, those come through the choke cable Grommet. That doesn't guarantee it's right, though :)
Mine is a mess and I was about to replace it with Brant's 65-66 version based on this thread.

As stated above, I also believe that the Ammeter Wiring comes through the same grommet as the choke cable would. In my case I don't have a manual choke due to having the 48IDA Weber Carbs.

The ammeter wiring goes through the choke cable hole for early cars. For later 350's there is an added hole for the wiring.
Ammeter wiring, oil pressure line, and choke cable (on the early cars). When I bought my GT 350 in 1971, I noticed no grommet. S/A packed the hole with strip caulk.

#2339 had (has) a what appeared to be a standard rubber plug in a separate hole that had been reamed out to accommodate the ammeter and oil pressure line when I bought it in 1987. Not sure if that is correct, or a grommet like the choke cable should be used.

as Dave said, above. Since GT500's had
electric automatic choke all the GT500's used the Ford choke hole for the oil line and Amp gauge wire - no extra hole added.

are these 3 cars GT500's ? (where the hole would have just had a plug from San Jose since no choke cable was installed)

All 3 cars are GT350's and all are 4 speed cars.

the early car has what appears to be a 65-66 choke cable grommet (sold at Virginia Mustang) while the later car has what my breakdown shows as a 379150-S rubber plug in the upper location.
Interestingly, an old pic of my car appears to show the early choke cable grommet at the bottom. The pic isn't very clear and the grommet appears to be broken in half.
I've included a zoomed in pic of the area showing the beveled plug at the top and a shadow of what looks like half of a 65-66 plug below.
[the car had a/c retrofitted, hence the plate gooped in when it was later removed.
Also bungies and wires are holding up the trans].
I'm not sure if I should use the beveled plug in both places (like JD's pic) or put back what I found. No telling what's stock in the chock cable hole due to the a/c stuff.
