My condolences to his family. I had helped him in the past with parts and info on his car. I didn't know him well but he was a man of integrity from all interactions I had with him. He will be missed.

John was helping me with my R tribute and we were emailing each other regularly. Prayers to the family.

John lived about 20 minutes away from me, and we spent quite a bit of time together. Agree with above, he was always such an enthusiastic person. He had a real passion for cars. He was alwAys upbeat no matter what was thrown at him.
He had just recently sold his beautiful R-model clone to Shelby American.
He will be missed.
God speed John.

John did a great job on his car. Enjoy the videos and pictures.

Wow. What a shock. John's passion and enthusiasm for Shelby American and its cars will be missed.

I will miss John a lot. We talked cars, life, cars, engines, cars, his car, my car and stupid stuff we did when younger and also recently. I called him two weeks ago to plan getting together when I get back to Chicago this summer. Conventions will not be the same. RIP John.
