Car has had some notable owners and an interesting history I'm sure.

What? No Elvis letter of authenticity??
Shelby "owned" a lot of cars he never took/had possession of. His name was added to a lot of his friends cars to increase their value. The Imperial Palace museum makes it even more suspect as a personal car. The owner of the Imperial Palace owned Las Vegas Speedway along with the buildings/shops surrounding it they loaned Shelby a lot of money (said to be 4 mil). CS was buddies with the general manager who was the owners son in law. When his marriage went south he got canned from the Imperial and the owner called in CS's loan.
Agreed with your assessment about the many cars CS "owned."
Is Richie Clyne the guy you're referring to? I met him a couple of times when the Speedway was in its dirt-moving phases of construction.

He was the idea - Ralph Engelstad owner of the Imperial Palace was the money and his son-in-law was VP or Pres and oversaw the family interests - until the divorce.
Hmmmm, interesting on the "Owned" CS cars.....but did it come with a "Limited Edition Glove Box Signature"????
