quick question guys ( from london England)  what are the final differences/specs ( against a standard GT ) of the shelby GT ?
how did the exhaust differ?  were they sold with the hand held ford calibration tuner?    apologies if its a new question for an old topic!!  john

John might be easier to find this answer on the Teamshelby.com site.

Team Shelby is focused on the Shelby's from the 2000 to date.

Glad we could help. Not really the fastest of the Mustangs but made like the original ones back in the early days. At S.A. they receive massaging to make them handle, perform, distinct Shelby badging and look at a bit different than the regular stands. Most importantly they receive their  C.S.M. number distinguishing them as a true Shelby.

Good luck

The old TeamShelby site has been taken over by Shelby American.  No for sale cars ( unless it's their new cars) and the forums aren't as good.   Too bad as that was a good site for Shelby GT cars.

+1         Only TS conversation is on their social media sites and it is not as informative as the earlier Forum site.  They tried to revise the orum and it ailed.  Now TS is waiting or a ne version any month now. 8)

It is a shame as the TS site used to be a great place for information about all things Shelby GT and some GT500 info as well.
After 7 years I dropped my TS membership in 2020 as the new site is just terrible.

The Shelby GT got some flack in the magazines. They felt paying $10,000 extra for a car that all they did was add $2,500 worth of Motorsport parts was excessive.

I think you meant to say - "In the year 2525, if man is still alive".
