MY friend and I just returned from Florida trailering a Shelby that was in a storage container since 1989. The Shelby # is 3472. The restoration started in 87' but didn't get far with it. I'm sure we will have several questions moving forward with the project.

Nice find! Congrats! Would love to see more pictures as well.
We shall do our best to answer your questions!
Congrats Ron and welcome to the SAAC forum. You'll find there is an unlimited supply of answers to your Shelby questions, if you just ask. In fact, the member who commented right before me, Coralsnake, provided an amazing resource for '68 owners. You might want to make that one of your regular resources.

# 3471 is your twin and a SAAC Gold car
Congratulations on the car & so nice to see that the previous owner had the smarts to store it safely in a container & not let it rot out in a field somewhere ,like that last post .
Great find! Congrats as this will be a beautiful car. I am sure it is happy to be out of the container.
