I just had my 67 booster rebuilt and am putting new lines in etc. I don't have the sensor part that goes into the middle top of the distribution block. Does anyone know of suppliers who sell them and what they are called? Thanks.
Brake Warning Light Switch. NPD has them in there catalog. Probably not that had to find an original. I believe that the 67 switch is 67 only.

might look at NPD see if one of these is "useable":
part 2B264-1
or 2B264-1A
tool to center
is 914-7
Perfect- thanks for the responses.
Double check compatibility with your brake warning light connector before you buy. There is both a single pin and double pin connector version. Single pin was on my 67 GT350 and are harder to find. JD at All Classic Motors has a few and one advertised here on ebay right now.

Hello cboss70
Just to follow up with everyone elses replys the item is called a brake light warning switch also seen it listed as a brake pressure warning lamp switch. Ford part number C7AZ-2B264-A.
It is a one year only switch with the single pin style in the top where the wire clips on, that i believe from my research (as i needed one for a friend a few months back) was fitted to 67 mercury cougars/mustangs and fairlanes. No body i believe reproduces the 67 style switch you will need to find good original used or nos.
Heres two listed on ebay at the moment. Hope this helps.
Best of luck
Dave

I'll put one up for auction in the next day or so at no reserve for you. Probably have an NOS booster assembly too.

Hey this is a good segway to ask about getting dash light off. At some point when I bled brakes for the first time ( not sure if it was the front or rear that did it ) I made the plunger move aside and the light is on now. I thought it might have been the rear because that's what I bled last because of a leak in the prop valve so I went to the front and followed the procedure in shop manual but could not get light off tried both light and heavy pedal pressure to get it move when bleeding some fluid out but nothing. Any tricks?
Back in the day (early 70's) I worked at a dealership and we would just put heavy pressure on the brake pedal with the engine off and ignition on until the light went out... :)

I'll give that a try. I'll post if it works. Thanks
Hi all,
I had the brake warning light stay on after bleeding the brakes on my 68
and tried to bleed the opposite side to re center the switch which did not
work. Since the car had power brakes I tried the same thing again
with the engine running and it turned right off.
