While searching to find the television schedule for the upcoming Barrett-Jackson AZ auction, it appears that these long awaited documentaries will be broadcast at various times over a few days.

Craig is just starting the sales hype. He tried to sell Green Hornet for a million but there were no takers. Now with the pair he'll probably try for 3 million.
Thanks Don and Pete. I didn't know about that.

Great fun! Cheers to Craig for his work
Tremendous, important fun---which included a variety of enthusiasts. Incredible job Jason & crew!!
screen shot of BJ website showing documentary times different than Pete's; don't know why this is??
We will have to be nimble to catch the exact time.

Alright, alright, alright .....today its on channel FYI or numerical 115 in Miami
9:00 pm little red and 10:00 pm green hornet
Both great shows!
Well done Mr. Jackson, well done
Wow! Those were fun to watch. Very cool!
I'm jealous, I couldn't get FYI channel to work with my provider :( :(
While I am a big fan of both cars I find it amazing how the discussion has changed on them.
They went from "what is it lab rats" to the "father of the breeds DNA".
I'd have to think this is because of Jackson's ability at promotion? After all, essentially, that is what he does.
I remember when the "fliptop Cobra" was called the "turd" and no one wanted it. Now it's a museum piece and the "pearl of great worth"?
I'm concerned because of all this that my family is preparing to do something like that with me? I wonder if I'm going to get "stuffed" and put on display or just put in a cage? Hum? ::)
I'd expect that in the case of the cage though that a sign would need to be posted to keep a safe distance from the "subject". He can get vicious?
a cinematic masterpiece....all kidding aside great entertainment
Truly enjoyed the full stomping of both cars, we give it two thumbs up !
Several more video clips that are not in the documentaries here:

I too am proud to have been a behind the scenes part of BOTH cars. Besides Pete , Jason and his father Gerald were wonderful to deal with. Our Tim Lea also played a part in these cars restorations. Self serving or not Craig did a very nice job on both presentations. Jason's work is top notch.
Randy
I agree a lot of people made those burnouts happen. Jason was an excellent choice and he's just a darn nice guy too. So many of the people like Mr Lea and Randy made contributions.
The Green Hornet would not be running if not for Illinicane aka, Jose, and 1968 car #101. These things are all related.
They could have made both of these programs longer with all the stuff they have.
I would like to see more of Little Red in 1968 Shelby trim 🙂
Brian is correct there are a lot of great videos on the Barrett Jackson website.
Pete your DEDICATION to making the Green Hornet what it is now is beyond words. Beating the performance of a carburetor with a 50+ year old system is really an accomplishment!

Let's not get greedy now! It is largely know as a '67 and if I'm not mistaken originally had center mount lights.
Are you the one going around sticking CONELEC medallions on everything like the Easter Bunny hiding chocolate eggs for the kids to find?
I have no issues with Jackson promoting these cars. "A rising tide floats all boats". Without him it's POSSIBLE both would exist in relative obscurity?
That was a good day. But, the glory needs to go to Mr E David Long and family.
One quick story...
I knew Mr Long several years before he passed away . One day after he passed, his daughter called me and said it was house cleaning time. Anything not removed was destined for the big dumpster. I think she was a bit surprised and happy to learn I would make the 1100 mile trip to save everything from the Conelec company.
She gets great credit. As should my father who decided he was a car guy for that week. Without those two, we are still wishing these cars could ever be restored.
Conelec lives matter.
Doug happy to send you a pair or better yet... trade them for chocolate.

What would I stick them on? That would disqualify me from Randy's criteria!
It makes your car faster.

EXACTLY! That's why it's a disqualification automatically! Not to mention the 250hp nitrous cheater system, but don't tell anyone.
Bring it out here Doug. If I can't see it , it's legal ;)

Oh dam! Now the cats out of the bag!
Can't wait to see it, for some reason it's not on deck till the 21 st for me.
I got my DVR set for Sunday Morning to tape both episodes. Been waiting for this. Gary
When Little Red was fired up (during restoration) for the first time with the engine in the car, is that #100 and #139 in the same room with the car?
That's pretty cool!

Hello,
I will be watching the documentaries later today and can let you know for sure. 0100 and 0139 were at Jason's shop at the time, but I do not know if they were in the same room with 0131 when they first fired up the engine.
Thanks,
Eric
Yes, just a glimpse but all three are shown for a bit. Think about it....all three, still with us and in good hands.
Some personal notes:
Saw both this morning, way to "fluffy" for any serious enthusiast. Way too much Craig speaking, interviews. I wanted to see much more technical on both, hear from more who worked with them back in the day, but really not there. I guess for your typical, star-struck newer enthusiast, good TV. I wanted real hard stuff.
On the Green Hornet, how much Shelby, how much Ford? I think that was blurred for TV.
But, nice to see, so kudos there.
Yes, the eagle eyes will notice the other two cars with Lil Red.
Just watched the Little Red documentary. Yes, 0100 and 0139 make brief appearances. Very disappointed that nothing was said about the significance of having the "Red Trio" together for the first time since December of 1968. I'll keep the rest of my thoughts and comments to myself.
Eric
I believe it was mentioned Shelby ordered the three cars together.
I guess you can always do your own program to correct the errors. I personally enjoyed both shows and the clips even though I recognized a few inaccuracies
I watched both shows this morning. Two hour-long shows specifically about two special CS cars that's reasonably accurate is pretty unusual. I enjoyed both. Kudos to the participants.

Hello Pete,
I never said anything about errors needing to be corrected. I just believe that a couple of things that should have been mentioned weren't. The fact that the three cars were ordered together because Shelby had plans to offer all three body styles in '67 could have been explained very briefly and would have provided an answer as to why 0131 and 0139 were built in the first place. As I said previously, having 0100 and 0139 at Jason's shop when 0131 came back to life was pretty significant/historic. In my opinion these two important points could have been brought up without taking away from the emphasis on 0131.
Thanks,
Eric
Who was the dude in the black hoodie??? ::) He seemed pretty knowledgeable about the Conelec fuel injection though. :)

I watched both, it just looks like they are lining them up for auction. I wish they would have spent more time on the cars then the sales pitch, but it was still interesting.
It looks like these documentaries have been posted to the YouTube now.

Only Mr. Peter Disher, aka Coralsnake; the visionary to pursue the Conelec legacy.
He certainly has his moments 8)
My friend, Bruce says my head is getting bigger. I contend its not just my head that is getting bigger, but that certainly does explain why my hair looks thinner.
Since these were on "the History Channel", no doubt they will be re-broadcasted again. I missed most of the Green Hornet one, but saw all of the Lil' Red one. Very informative.
It's no secret that I have been building a Tribute to Lil'Red. Well along the way. I started the conversion about 2014, well before Lil'Red was found. The Mustang I used is a well optioned GTA, so, the Deluxe interior, vinyl roof, automatic trans is already there. And it was built at San Jose about 2 weeks before Lil'Red was.
And, it answered some questions like: what is the color? I saw the regular black Deluxe upholstery. There are some other questions but, since mine is a Tribute, it comes down to "so what?" Wouldn't the deck lid be a custom two off? (for the hard top, and one for the C'vert?) Well, I built them as metal underlined figuring they were early cars. Same way with the hood. I made mine metal underlined, Hours of labor there. But, again, so what, that is the way I wanted it.
And it seems that there willl be some correcting to Lil'Reds history. They showed that the firewall knock-out was still there, so it never would have had any four speed in it.
At least they showed Mr Jackson burning plenty of rubber. So will I.
Some of the shorts on the Barrett-Jackson website have a little more detail on both cars. If you watch everything in totality you will have a better understanding of why the program is the way it is....
I thoroughly enjoyed both programs. I know all of those characters and all are genuine car guys. I had lunch with Jason and Craig a couple of times in Burbank when they were out doing research on the cars. All Craig talked about was cars, cars, cars. A genuine car guy. I am proud to have supplied a couple of parts for both cars. I know I made a few small things for the fuel injection, but forget what they were. And I remember meeting Jason in LA when the car was first discovered when only a couple of people knew. Amazing discovery.
Congratulation to the entire team that brought these cars back.
Scott
I just watched the Little Red one & loved it ,my 1st mustang was a red California Special so little red has always had a place in my heart .
Finally able to see both of these today, was really cool to see so many familiar faces. Outstanding work by all!
I'm one of those folks who occasionally reads the credits. They did list SAAC, and Bryan Styles.

Thanks for posting the reunion video ! 8) I'm sure it was emotional for the previous owner !

Yes thanks for posting this new one Brian
Can we go to Sizzler now?
😀
It's hard to find one in California.
