we are nearing the point of painting the side stripes on 5s296 -
From the attached picture is looks like the stripe was masked off where the quarter panel line meets the door striker panel and proceeds along that line on the top of the rocker panel - is this correct?
For the front of the door - is there a detail that anyone can share? was there overspray in the area between the front of the door and back of the fender? or was this area masked off as well?
Does the stripe have a return on the door and on the fender?

About half of that amount would be typical, although it was not an exact measurement from car to car.

Blow out from tape not applied or push down in corners as well as overspray where they didn't tape or mask
