Title: Tachometer question

Hi, Is this a line production tachometer or an over the counter one.

Hi SFCarbuff,

From just the image shown, it appears to be the assembly line version with the straight tach needle.  Does it have the black wrinkle painted cup or chrome cup?  Does it have a date code under the cup on the main body?  These additional features can better confirm assembly line, especially the date code.

Thanks for the info.  It has the black cup with a 1966 date code.

Agreed, looks like the later production version with the lower position Cobra emblem and tick marks pointing out.
