Title: 1966 GT 350 Wheels
Post by: Timar55379 on April 16, 2021, 09:10:24 AM
I recently purchased 6S408. It currently has Torque Thrust wheels on it.  I'm trying to determine what the original wheels would have been.  Order form simply says standard equipment.  Would this have been just base steel wheels or Magnum 500's. Any input/thoughts appreciated.

I believe that would be correct.

1966 Registry says "S", 15" steel wheels for 408

Howard with the help of shipping invoices and other original documents will have on how the car was originally outfitted from Shelby. That info would be printed in the 66 Registry or available from Howard.

Easy for you since 6s855 already took the time, looked it up and posted it above ;)
