What primary wire should be in the 67 GT500 distributor? Is it a molded 90 degree end with AUTOLITE in it and a specific color?
I think you want the wire with the eyelet and yellow molded connector.
The whiteish colored angle boot (c7vy) has autolite marked on the black rubber coming out of dist housing and is for single points 390 428 correct for 68 69 gt500.

The primary wire on the 67 GT500 distributor has the black plastic molded end eyelet.
LOL! How may answers did you want? Bob is probably correct for a '67, though I have been using the yellow ended ones on the C5 distributors I have done. So the black one is same as Hi Po 289?

The black one is also the correct one to be used on the 289 hipo . The yellow ended one is the service replacement for the mechanical advance duel points. There are repros of the black one.
Thanks to all. I don't remember this subject coming up before. It would help if the search function was better.
I asked about this a few months back in the concours section of the forum. It comes up in a search for the whole SAAC site, but won't come up in just the 67 Shelby section.
