Bidding as of 10:52 Central Time on 6-17-2021 is $15,100.00. For a 66 Shelby Mustang. Lol.
Interesting, anyone have a registry handy? I'm 600 miles away from mine at the moment.
Bill
Trapped at the office myself. But considerably closer to my registry by 584 miles in comparison.
Looks like this may have the rare master cylinder delete option.
It's a New York car originally.
Only one listed owner, Lawrence Isoldi (Elmont, NY). Present owner/whereabouts not known.
It also does not have the signature delete.
Guess the fellow in the yard was the owner. he kept it 'hidden' in the garage so to speak... From the looks of the car, those tools in the auction must be mint condition...
So, looks like it is (or perhaps was...) Lawrence Isoldi... He was at both locations... A snow bird who retired in SC... Long term owner! Guess he won't be able to restore it after all... The house is online, but zero pics of the garage!
I'd say it's in pretty good shape considering the mileage. 329k miles listed by seller😉

They moved the car to be auctioned on July 8th. - Link: https://johnthenryauction.hibid.com/lot/93925220/1966-ford-shelby-mustang-gt350-h-hertz (https://johnthenryauction.hibid.com/lot/93925220/1966-ford-shelby-mustang-gt350-h-hertz)
The auction company says this is a one owner car with 32996 miles.

Always an interesting term when it comes to ex rental cars or even ex company/demo (SAAC) cars
And yet they still cant provide any further information on the car. multiple emails sent, phone calls made.
guess there either not interested in getting the best return they can for the seller or are just dumb.

Estate sales can be tricky with allot of "things" going on in the background
Hopefully the family is treated well and there is nothing going on
Not suggesting that anything is going on in this situation just saying have seen some very questionable things take place in the past
At the end it hadn't met reserve at a $116,000 bid.
Push refresh and the price was removed (but can be found when you click on 72 bids), but I don't believe it sold....at least during the auction.
At 116k it had a 13% fee added to it which made it around 130k. I watched the auction. I had some fairly good pictures of certain areas. the car looked to be in fair condition. It had a 6R09k motor but not the original one. Correct rear end. All numbers looked to be in place. I did not have a good picture of the torque boxes or rear frame rails
