I use this picture on my computer was the saver screen. (Too good not to as it looks rather dramatic and suggestive of speed and power.) Does anyone know if it is an R model ("competition model" as stated back in the day) and if so, which number it might be? I have been wondering for a while and just now came around to posing the question.

There is or was a website that was selling enlarged photos of the picture I posted. I am awfully tempted to get one. If I can relocate the site. He wanted a high price for the photo but it may be worth it for wall eye candy.
