Am I paranoid or is there an abnormal number of guests viewing member profiles?
How would we be able to tell if that's happening?

How can you tell if someone/guests have been looking into our profiles? I don't pay attention to that kind of stuff. Just curious.

By clicking on the Guest and Users heading at the bottom will bring up a list of who is looking at what at that time.

Interesting there were over 100 guests with most viewing member profiles. Right after I asked the question, number of guests dropped by 50 percent and most of those were viewing individual member profiles. Just appeared really strange that many guests were viewing profiles and not individual topics.
As a global moderator on another site not affiliated here, I have access to IP addresses for guests, as such, I've found that quite a bit of what you are seeing has to do with google (and similar search engines) caching and indexing.
Out of curiosity I just looked looked at Guests and Users. Never crossed my mind of doing that before. I guess I am not that inquisitive. Mostly check out the threads to gain knowledge or add information.
And some wonder why others don't use their full name, why some go as "hidden" and many limit what they post in their "profile" and "signatures".
Also, consider some may want to know the persons' commenting on topics (for lack of a better term) "credentials".
Look at the "Stats" link - interesting too.
Evidently mygt350, when you mentioned guest viewing member's profile, then the viewing dropped almost to nothing. Strange :o
OMG never looked at that. Funny! I guess I do not care about that.....thats kinda facebookish....haha...Why is that even needed?

Or it could be someone like me who 'fat fingers' every time on my cell phone. I'd bet I pull up someone's profile 40 -50 % of the time when trying to view threads on my cell. >:(
