Maybe it's just me, but I've never meet anyone over 15 years old use "bad ass" to convey a positive impression.  Sort of like teen girls trying to adapt a secret language.  Again, I'm probably too old.

 I know that the curmudgeon and battle axe crowd won't agree but  thats one bad ass car what ever it is !
