True.  Unfortunately, many US made products rely on some foreign part for completion of assembly.

Ironically when the SR-71 Blackbirds were made, the US relied on Russian titanium to build them, unbeknownst to the Russians.  Shell corporations were made overseas to buy the relatively rare metal.  Aluminum and steel skins would not cut it for such a fast plane blasting through the atmosphere.  The heat generated on the fuselage was tremendous.

I consume Buffalo wings and Bud Light. Neither are imported. Although my weather is often from Canada. Does that count?

That Bud is U.S.brewed U.S. grains with but now owned by InBev of Belgium/Brazil. But, true, it doesn't have to be imported to enjoy.
