Hello!
Can someone please provide me with a picture and part number for the '66 rear drum brake backing plates?
Thanks again,
Steve
Hi Steve,
If know one else can help, I can get you some images this weekend.
Cory
Hi Steve, I sent you some pics from when I painted mine, tried to post but saying upload full
Part numbers are 49294 and 49295 with KH and Fomoco stamped
Cheers
From what I've observed all 65 GT350's and some 66 carryover cars used KH-49294 (R) and KH-49295 (L) 2-1/2" backing plates. The other carryovers and most, if not all, production 66 GT350's used KH-70390 (R) and KH-70391 (L).
Emails sent with pics to people that what them. Sorry I am overseas at moment and my internet access to hit and miss :o
Thanks guys! Mine are marked with the FOMOCO round logo and 70391 [L] and 70390 [R]. So thanks s2ms. Also, Cory, if you get some time, I would love to see 407's!
Thanks again all. Too bad its so hard to post photos on this site now.
Cheers,
Steve

Every time I want to be helpful and post a picture I remember how much time it takes now and get discouraged.
Here are two examples I had handy. Sure there are many more in the files

Yeah agree, I try and downsize them to fit in site but then quality is terrible
Sorry others are having difficulty posting pictures. Guess after the Photo***et (don't want to provide them any free advertisement ;) mess few want to rely again on off site picture hosting sites.

No worries Jeff, we will survive mate
Also are the photos you put up the slightly later 66 KH ones?
I am positive that the backing plates on 6s281 are original, they are numbers
70390 and 70391, stamped KH and Ford oval. 281 was born at Ford in the First or second week of October 65. I would post pictures if needed but it's such a pain. Hope it helps.

No in fact mid production year.
Sorry I missed the bottom line in your response at the time :(

What is weird Jeff and Bob is that I can now post pics from that ad ridden site again. Never stopped me from doing it on the CJ site then tried SAAC again. Don't know why but i'm sure they will blitz again.... An example
Someone posted on another site that PhotoBucket had changed "management" (what ever that means) and that the whole third party posting thing had been reversed. Just sharing what was reported

Have to tried posting any images yet? I really HATE their advertising as it is the worst I have ever seen but since I haven't found another site I can share on I just keep using it.

I thought the #KH-49294/95 were the C3OZ-2210/11-B ? and the KH-70390/91 were the C9OZ-2210/11-x ?
regards,
jim p
Ive seen two different 70000 numbers on 67 backing plates
