Title: Big block alu Cobra T oil pan

When mounting on a alu oil pan, do you use the bolts from the original oil pan ore are there "special" bolts fore this job?

I think that the original pan bolts from the sheet metal pan are too short? Try them and see if they work.

There is no Concourse correct bolt for those since those pans were only ever an aftermarket item made first by Randy Delisio's "Super 'Stang Shop" which is what the SSS is an indication of and now later and presently to Tony Branda, which is what the TDB is for.

Randy's pans had lots of porosity issues in the castings. I don't know if Branda's are any better. Hopefully, yes?


They never came from Shelby or Ford ever.

I think those will be 1/4"-16 NC x 1"? I remember using stainless steel hex head with lock washers.


Make sure that you use silicone caulking instead of a cork gasket on it and on the bolts. Those pans tend to leak oil through there pretty badly if you do not.
