Title: For Howard Pardee, 1965 GT 350 Registrar
Post by: Tom Honegger on February 10, 2022, 11:46:27 AM
Hi Howard,
I have a friend who is installing a new Shelby-style steering wheel on his '65 Mustang fastback. It is not a "Shelby clone" or replica, just a
nice driver. He wants to install a toggle switch for the horn, like the '65 Shelby. Do you have any suggestions where he can find information
on routing wiring, where to tap into existing, color of wires, etc.?
Thanks,
Tom Honegger

Tom,

The wires for the horn are part of the harness that runs up the column to the turn signal switch. Find the feed and return, and route to a momentary switch.

(Yes, I am not Howard, just hopefully adding some useful information)

FYI... I don't think Howard participates much here on the forum.  Best to reach him via normal e-mail.
