Yes, it seems we're headed that way. Not only gasoline, but all these other calamities happening over the last year. It's all very strange. Seems the world is less stable these days.

Saw $6.87 for diesel over the weekend, in San Diego. Super unleaded was $6.59.

Here is a tip on how to economize on fuels:
Since fuel prices are so high, go to your nearest car dealership and tell them that you would like to test drive their cars.
Once in the vehicle go run your errands, buy groceries, go to the pharmacy or laundromat, etc
Yesterday it took me 3 test drives to accomplish my goals
