Probably a silly question but did 66 Shelbys' have the SMCO chrome radiator cap OR the SMCO zinc cap?

Not a silly question at all. They used the chrome one. This is verified by vintage images.

When the caps are new, it is sometimes difficult to tell the differences between the two finishes. The biggest giveaway though is the zinc cap has a brass rivet. The rivet on the chrome cap is chrome also.
