To be individually custom built by Wingard Motorsports that bought out the remaining Series 1 inventory of chassis, body parts , etc. They will done at four per year.
For all you veterans who let the Super Snake get away years ago, now you can finally make up for it. :o
Do we get 24 hour all out Goodyear tire test at a track?
More repops?
Getting hard to keep up.
Can't wait for the ...CARROLL SHELBY & DON McCAIN...official.autographs on the Super Snake..... ;D
All you have to say is the original sold for 1.3 million and there will be a market for $249,995+ 67 Mustangs. Now since one is born every minute where are the 10 coming from?
I wonder if the Series 2 will be streetable - the Series 1 was never certified for street use - I guess you could always register it as a kit car.

I would think that they will be registered as whatever the car was originally? If that was a 6 cylinder, 3 speed, that's what it will show.
Being a '67, there isn't any place left in the US that it will have to conform to any emissions except a closed pcv system. In addition, probably only California will even care about that at all. So don't sell them in California.
I'm thinking though that if they do a nice job on them they may be marketable for $250 to celebrity types who don't have time to make their own plus there aren't exactly a lot of decent 67 FB's left to work on but finding 10 shouldn't be a deal breaker?
They can use rusty ones........

That may be all that is left.
Based on the photos, it looks like these continuation Super Snakes will be exact...even down to the "Caution Fan" sticker. ::)
Still waiting excitedly for the introduction of the continuation......DRAGON SNAKES.... 8) !!!
I thought my idea of having a REAL VINTAGE car...( 1189) with a real vintage engine, capable of running the SUPER SNAKE numbers was a singular personal journey to have the fastest street Shelby on the planet. Looks like others want to get in on the fun, cant blame them I suppose :-\

More repops?
The day Shelby American starts putting Red Lights back on their 67's upper scoops, I'm selling my car and getting out of this hobby.
I think they still are outlawed?
BUT, the new Series 2 WILL NOT come with cupholders!!! That kills it for me...LOL!
Steve
So many replica and continuation Shelby toys out there now. Maybe there needs to a new SAAC: Shelby American Automotive Continuations. They can even produce their own Whatever in The World is this Registry. ;D
Hey Brian, I posted mine 2 hours before you. Stop stealing my thunder.

The registry would be easy,
xxxxxx0001 Options :Whatever the current owner says . "One time owned by CS"
xxxxxx0002 Options : something different than 0001 "Once owned by CS"
ETC.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Randy- That's some funny Sh.. right there but so true!
Didn't they make a '67 C.C.S. GT500 "Super Snake" several years ago?
That all chrome grille looks out of place. The original had black mesh with just chrome around the outer lights.
Built in Pennsylvania???? WTF?
Along with the continuation 68 GT500KR.
All they need now is some of the original "crew" to be involved. That will justify the cost. ;)
Maybe they will be built in an airport hanger in Pennsylvania.
