Any comments or recommendations on current security systems and GPS?

I'm in the process of looking further into this product for my trailer. With it's size, capability for extended periods and fast location speed (every three seconds) versus 30-60 seconds and the price is reasonable.

I have no idea if its the same in USA or how smart or dumb your thieves are but in europe also the kids use jammer or something to cut the signal. If you really want to be safe with a trailer buy a tire claw or 2 these things are pretty cool and hard to remove. What is better to let the people steal the trailer with maybe your car inside or to have these claws where its nearly impossible to steal it. I maybe would make a police or fbi sticker on it and maybe a nuclear warning sign on the trailer  ;D

I prefer to have items that make it more difficult to steal my car/trailer, than to merely have it trackable once the bad guys have gotten it.

(I know, you can do both, and should.)

I've been advised that the lethal death gas that is released within the cabin after ten minutes of not entering the security code is illegal. I can't stand liberals.  >:(

I agree, the more layers of protection you can add the better. The GPS is just a small part of my trailer and truck theft deterrents.
