Is that how the factory stamped the FORD VIN on the block?
Mid-March Ford unit assembly date with an early December block date code.
Might be prudent to compare with other known vins in that range on block dating. The listing omits the term "original" but describes "numbers matching".
My block looks like a 5 year old stamped it too. BTW mine is also early Dec cast for late April build.
