Post by: mygt350 on October 25, 2022, 04:41:49 PM
Can someone tell me what a 65 GT350 Axle Bump stop bracket is and where it mounts? Slipped my mind among other things.
Thanks

Photo does not show the rubber bumper, but it goes in the round hole.

Seen in other photos Brant posted here - http://blog.virginiaclassicmustang.com/2020/11/just-detailsearly-production-1965-gt350.html (http://blog.virginiaclassicmustang.com/2020/11/just-detailsearly-production-1965-gt350.html)

Also another photo here.  Bump stops were moved to allow room for the over-ride traction bars.

Do you mean these brackets? Relocated more medially to accomodate for the override traction bars

There are a couple of versions but for your car in your signature and the majority of cars built that year the pictures posted are a good illustration of the most common version and the style for your car
