ran across a couple photos from a Motor City Region meeting circa 1976 or 1977 at Dearborn library,
an unusual finish cobra with a tortured history !

I like it.Plenty of room under that scoop. Thanks for sharing.
Who owns it now? does it have the same Scoop?
in the one pic looks like the glass house and the Hyatt in the background. The Hyatt was the HQ of a few SAAC conventions.
My thought as well. I remember taking the monorail from the Fairlane Town Center (?) to the Hyatt and visiting the RenCen when Ford/Detroit still owned it. I had never seen a parking lot that big! ;D
yes, the Dearborn city library is just east of FoMoCo HQ, and on the S side of Michigan ave, the photo perspective captured those 2 nearby structures.

A few years back I got lost in the RenCen trying to get back to the parking garage. Had to park there for the Detroit Auto show(went there pre opening for GM) and we ate at Greektown so took the people mover back to the RenCen. Wow what a mess to find the right way to go to the parking garage from inside of the RenCen. Had to actually go through the hotel on an upper floor.

Ed Meyer has spent a lot of time over the years going through Ford documents at that Library.
Went for a ride on Woodward Ave. in this car. Couldn't believe how much flex there was in that body.
