Recent show couple weeks ago in Tennessee - Ponies in the Smokies. A friend of mine was at the show and sent me a couple of photos.. there were 6 SAAC cars attending , never seen some many at 1 show. Anybody attend to post more picks?.Thought I would post this since it's been awhile .
Are you saying those saac cars or those "saac" cars Those 1988 year cars??? Of some sort?
I was there Friday and I saw a 65, 2 67's, 3 68's, 1 69, and one 70....The rest of the ponies were 2005 to new....I would guess 800 plus.
They were in a building with the older Shelby's. Where did u come up with 1988 ?? This is a Forum for the 1991-'93 SAAC MK1 &2. Owner of '91 Prototype XX2 MK1.
OK, I mean those fox body ones....Do you mean the continuation cars? There were a few of the fox body saac cars there, but I did not see any continuation cars.
There were 5 SAAC Mustangs at the show. 2 MKI's, 2 MKII convertibles and 1 SAAC Snake. I will try and post some pictures shortly.
Here you go. Factory supercharged SAAC Snake.
MKI #001 and 004. Two of the three factory supercharged MKI's.
Two MKII convertibles. The black car has less then 200 original miles.
SAAC MKI #001
Awesome ,,,thanks for posting !
Five (5) SAAC cars on display in one place is quite the achievement.
Getting all three (3) models is another great achievement
(2 -MKIs, only white hatchback were made, 2-MKII convertibles, 1 red and 1 black, and 1 SAAC Snake, black
Whoever helped gather them all together deserves to be applauded.
I saw the photos. All of them are very nice cars!
I was at the ponies in the smokies show and the corvette expo both shows going on at the same time and location and lots of hot rodding burnouts going on !!

Pretty sure that's my old car , Sayville Ford was original dealer , I got it from them , sold it a while ago with. 120 miles on it .
Late to the topic, but better late than never!
Here is a complete YT vid from that show on the Fox SAAC cars being discussed. The history on the black/gold SAAC is interesting and there is a single pic in the YT vid of it when it was originally "found".
